How to play Tango
- Fill with two symbols. Every cell holds one of the two symbols when the grid is complete.
- No three in a line. No more than two of the same symbol may sit consecutively in a row or column.
- Balance every line. Each row and each column contains an equal number of both symbols.
- Honour the hints. Cells joined by an equals sign must hold the same symbol; cells joined by a cross must differ.
Tango strategy & tips
- Resolve the equals and cross hints first โ they place symbols with certainty.
- Two identical symbols in a row force the opposite symbol on each open side.
- When a line has all of one symbol placed, fill the rest with the other.
